We flew out Christmas day on our ALL INCLUSIVE holiday. First thing that struck us was the white sandy beach (very robinson crusoe ). The Cubans are so friendly and work hard to make your holiday memorable. At night all you hear is the sound of the crickets and maybe the swishing of the palm trees.

We were with a fantastic crowd of people from all over and everybody got on so well. This is the only holiday I have never wanted to come home from. I loved the turkish people, the shopping bazaars and the markets.

Hotel Aqua promenade is 50 mtr from a railway station and 50 mtrs from the beach. Hotel is 4 star standard - very clean-excellent service. Staff are very courteous and polite. Food is buffet style with vast range of choice. Each day varied dishes of rice, pasta, fish, meats, salads and fruit covered every form of diet.

Rooms either have a park view or a sea view. We had a sea view and it was just as well or I would have stayed in my room all day gazing out! Simple, clean accomodation. Smart and polite staff who very much let the hotel setting speak for itself. Food simple, lots of fresh fish and salads, fresh vegetables and pasta with simple clean tasting sauces.

We gazed at the fantastic scenery rolling past - the lakes and forests on the first day when one left Toronto, the prairies the second day (complete with bison!) and the Rockies on the third day, with moose, elk and 4 bears!
