Accommodation Stayed at various locations. Accommodation was very good. Service was very friendly, with English spoken everywhere. Without exception the hotels were clean and the food varied and good. Both European and Asian food was available. Getting non chilli laced food was not a problem. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, interesting food.
Travelogue It was special to go to an area where the people are so friendly and relaxed, which is amazing considering the trauma many have sufferred. Wish we could bring it to the UK!! We had no hostility shown to us, quite the reverse. Seeing happy smiling children asking about Man. U and Beckham was unexpected, but memorable. A place where a gift of a bottle of water was received with thanks and charm.
Three countries with wonderful scenery, happy people, delightful food and modern history we should all be aware of. We have visited 50 countries these would be amongst our top half dozen. Most important - "GO SEE FOR YOURSELF". You will not regret it. (Photo: "Tesco Direct". Floating market Thailand)

Must See Attractions
1) Temples & Buddhas in Bangkok

2) Floating market near Bangkok
3) Mopeds & markets in Saigon
4) Viet cong tunnels near Saigon
5) Angkor Watt temples at Siem Reap, Cambodia

Places to Eat I recommend eating out at one of the many hotels where there is plenty of choice and food is well presented.

Fab Tips 1) Take US dollars in small denominations for tips, coffees and smiling kids you can't ignore. 2) If travelling during the malarial season wear long sleeves for the evenings. 3) Hats and sun glasses are a must.
