Accommodation Stardust Resort & Casino Hotel. Excellent! Smaller than a lot of the 'main' hotels in Vegas but that gave it a more friendly feel when you entered though the main doors. Also as it is smaller you don't have to walk that far to the check-in desk or to your rooms.

Room was very large with a massive king size bed, bathroom huge will loads of space for all my bottles!!
Maids came everyday - and even tied and folded our clothes which was very nice!

Highly recommend this hotel, although it is located on the North End of the strip you will need to walk for a while to get into the main bit but there is a shuttle bus which runs up and down the strip that leaves right outside the main entrance.

Travelogue This was a brilliant holiday. We have been in July before but would suggest going 'out-of-season' as May was a much better time to go, less crowds and the weather was much more bearable (although we hit a heat-wave and it reached 100C every day, but in July it was 120C!!).

Everyone out there was so friendly and I realy think people do make a good holiday too.

We flew over to the Grand Canyon (booked via www.vegas.com before we went as they were the cheapest we found) and received excellent service from them - we were picked up in the morning and taken to the airport were we boarded our 16-seater plane. I wasn't really scared at that point as I had been on one before, but unfortunatly I and my husband got stuck right at the back and it was a very windy flight. We were soooo scared - the plane was going all over the place! We were looking at everyone in front of us and they all looked really calm so we wondered why we were the only scared ones, but when we landed EVERYONE was green! The pilot even said it had never been that windy, but luckily we all made it and boy was it worth it! The Grand Canyon is amazing...we got to do our own thing and wander round, then a buffet-style lunch was provided in a beautiful setting. It was lovely.
We then started to dread the flight back to Vegas but luckily it wasn't so windy.

We also learnt how to play blackjack which was great fun, the dealers and other players did not mind at all that we were new to game and they all helped us out loads, one night $20 lasted my husband two and half hours! That was great too.
