Accommodation
Hotel
Melia Cayo Guillermo.
Rooms
spotlessly clean daily and air conditioning add to the comfort. Maids
leave towels in shapes of animals (swans) and other gifts. We tipped
them a dollar a day (average wage in Cuba is $20 per month!) Food is excellent with fish a high point. Plenty of lobster and various locations around the hotel to eat (even on the beach!). |

Travelogue We flew out Christmas day on our ALL INCLUSIVE holiday. First thing that struck us was the white sandy beach (very robinson crusoe ). The Cubans are so friendly and work hard to make your holiday memorable. At night all you hear is the sound of the crickets and maybe the swishing of the palm trees. The hotel is comparable with a UK 5 STAR. Most
people on holiday there are either Canadian, English or German (grab
your sun lounger by the pool early!) although ther's plenty of room
on the beach nearby. |
